There are two types of copywriters:
(Accordingly to David Ogilvy)
Poets & Killers.
The poets do it for the magic.
The killers do it for the sales.
The poets see the ad as an end.
The killers see the ad as means to an end.
There is however a third type:
The ones who are both poets and killers.
The ones who create magic & generate sales.
That’s the kind of copywriter I aspire to be.
Who is Sebas?
Born in a small village in the south of Portugal.
I grew up playing football in the streets.
When I was 14 I moved to Lisbon.
My plan was to study Business & Management.
But after a Ted Talk, I decided to drop out and go into Advertising.
I also worked in sales for a while and started a recycling project in schools.
Now I’m finishing Miami Ad School and getting ready to conquer the Ad World.
